As an introduction to our wetland unit, we will be taking a Journey through the Everglades with Wayne the rain drop. Wayne, his teacher, and classmates follow the water flow though the Kissimmee Okeechobee and Everglades regions of Florida, and eventually arrive at the coral reefs in the Florida Straights.
Along out journey, we will be learning about the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan and its application in understanding the South Florida ecosystem.
